I previously posted a one-star review because one of those annoying "please rate this app!" dialogs appeared on a night when I was at the tail end of a horrible few days of hard work and no sleep, and my daughter was running full-tilt WAY past her bedtime. I completely forgot that Id vented here until the Rain Rain dev team responded to my review, and was so patient and cool that I instantly felt horrible. So heres the REAL review: When all else fails and my baby daughter simply cant get to sleep, I swaddle her and put on the original Rain Rain storm sound, and within a few minutes, shes no longer fighting to stay awake, and soon shes completely asleep. And I use it at work when I need to put my headphones on and concentrate. Being mentally back in my living room, listening to the rain is the perfect cure for the drone of noise in the office. Great stuff. This is the first "ambient noise" app thats made it to the home screen on my phone.

This is a great app but one thing you have to remember is to turn it off when you are done.

Most apps have a small handful of sounds making it hard to find one I like. This has so many that it is hard to pick just one

I love this app, dont get me wrong but after its last update, my timer now acts like the volume so I have to slide the timer half way through the time I wanted it to play just for it to be loud enough! I couldnt figure out why I would wake up and the sounds were off even though it was supposed to run for hours yet. PLEASE FIX THE TIMER so ppl dont have to set it for twice as long just to get it to run for the amount of time they really want it to!!

I used YouTube rain sounds for years and it would glitch out or not play etc. This app changed my life. Amazing sleep, never errors. The mixing option is amazing! I use 3 of the rain/storm sounds and it makes for a perfect soothing sound. Great for when you want to cover up noises from outside, neighbors, construction noise, or just to add soft background music.

I downloaded rain rain and several other apps a few weeks ago to help with a sudden onset with tinnitus. Rain Rain was the only app that worked for me. My quality of life is better. I can finally get a decent few hours of sleep at night.

Ive had this app for a few years now and it never ceases to amaze me honestly...I especially like the new feature where you can mix various sounds together. Altogether its absolutely brilliant, not even one complaint from me. I love it. P.S. Its great for ASMR if thats what youre looking for.

This is by far the best app for rain sounds, nature, ocean, birds, chimes, you name it! You can mix up to 3 sounds and adjust volumes. Create your own happy place and drift into a peaceful state or go right to sleep. So many FREE sounds and features. Id love to buy ALL premium sounds in one transaction rather than subscribe or by packs. Love love love this.

This app always comes thru for me! I usually use a Rain, Rain but Summer Rain is good too. Put this on, set the timer & distractions wear away! Perfect for hotel sleeping or home sleeping!

Its easy to take for granted the fact this app is not glitchy. I turn it on and it runs all night every night. It could be improved with a sound that has more bass. No doubt the in-app purchase would offer that.
